Journal 4759 Gozran 14th

We arrived late in Felgrau of Ustalav in the furrows. We saw a tree that had werewolves hanging from it branches. Something did not look right and as I got close I saw thru the illusion. It was too late the tree attacked us. It got a hold of Hadhod by the neck and I used my fire sphere to burn the tree. With Hadhod and Gregor beating on the tree and my fire spells we were able to kill this creature. Then we skirted around Felgrau as we were going around the town we were found by three werewolves who wanted Hadhod to joined them because of his wolf spirit. Hadhod refused and they attacked. I made them separate to get to us with my spike growth. We were able to kill them quickly with Gregor silver sword and because they could not gang up on us. We than continue on when a ghost attacked us but before it could do anything to us we were able to destroyed it. Then hear a voice from an old building. It called us inside and I did not believe it was a good idea but it was. Hadhod and Gregor went in and I followed when we meet the Prince of Wolves. He gave us information about what was here and where Kendra is. We promised to give him the heart of the pack leader if we found it. As we were getting close we were discovered by the Whispering Way. A group of skeletons started to come out of the building next to us. Gregor went into the building taking the fight to them. The cultist leading the skeleton began screaming that the werewolves are attacking. Two werewolves came around the building to get to Hadhod as a few skeletons also came out to attack us. Then a second group of skeletons came out from the other building next to us. I was able to destroy most of them skeletons in that group by commanding them back to the earth where they came from in the name of Gorazan. Then I noticed more skeletons coming from across the village and more werewolves coming from the way we came in. A three way battle was beginning. Hadhod was able to kill the two werewolves and skeleton outside, Gregor killed most of the skeleton inside and came out to fight the second group of skeletons. I set up entangle to try and slow the werewolves down. It worked I used my fire sphere to help Hadhod and set up my spike grow to also help Hadhod. The skeleton went after the werewolves before going after us and the werewolves also would go after the skeletons before us. Except Hadhod which the werewolves wanted him to go to their side but that was not working. Just as every group was coming together when Auren vrood enter the battle. It did not look good because he was flying. We had little to hurt him while he was flying are only hope was to command him to the ground. Gregor used his command spell telling Auren Vrood to sleep. It worked to my surprise and Vrood fell from the air. Once he was ground Gregor attacked him. The cultist saw Vrood in danger changed their order from the werewolves to attack Gregor. I used my spike growth to kill that group of skeletons but two other groups went around my spikes and got to Gregor. With my and spike growth to help Hadhod he was in control killing the werewolves. I went help Gregor with the two of us we took out Vrood. I did not realize it when I then used my turn undead destroying half of the group of skeletons but also killed Vrood undead form, too. We both got surrounded by the skeletons as the cultist told the skeletons to kill us and they ran for their lives. Gregor was able to break me free from the skeleton and covered my escape. We both ran to Hadhod on the other side of my spike and entangle spells taking some damage. This worked because the skeleton did not make it thru and were destroyed. We then rested up so I could get one more turn undead for the day and went up to rescue Kendra. I used my turn undead to destroy the skeletons guarding Kendra. We then started search the place and found this Scroll which read: The Carrion Crown Upon the ashen pathways tread Softly, as the whispered dead. Journal 4759 Gozran 3rd thru 9th

Journal 4759 Gozran 3rd and 4th While we wait for Gregor returned. I talked Wretch to help me clear the water from the barn so it only has water in the two pits and in base of one of the towers. Wretch knocked a hole into the base causing the water to drain. We waited and nothing came out at us and the water drained away. We went back to the main house and Hadhod told me that the mimic’s ask to join us but he threw it off the cliff into the river. Hadhod continue to look thru the house while I rested. Journal 4759 Gozran 5th Gregor return by noon and told us that Kendra Lorimor had been taken by Auren Vrood who wants us to leave Ustalay or he will cut off her fingers. We told Wretch to stay here and guard his home we will return and leave Ustalay with him. We went back to Lepidistadt because Gregor has a plan to find Kendra. Journal 4759 Gozran 6th Gregor was able to get Father Eswayne Cidaimoikis high priest of Gravecharge Temple to scry on Auren Vrood and Kendra Lorrimor with no luck. I was able to sell our treasure and also was able to give my share of the reward money for Wretch to pay back the rest I owe to the temple for the magic feather fall ring. Gather supplies to be ready to leave. Journal 4759 Gozran 7th Just waiting around until for news on Kendra. Journal 4759 Gozran 8th Gregor came back saying that Father Eswayne Cidaimoikis was able to contact Kendra Lorrimor and the place sound like the Harrowstone Prison. So, we are off to save Kendra. When we stop for the night Hadhod remember that Harrowstone Prison collapsed and is now underwater. We headed back to find out more information where Kendra is. Journal 4759 Gozran 9th We get back just before noon and Gregor went to Father Eswayne Cidaimoikis to scry Kendra again. He was able to get more information and found out that she is in Felgrau in the furrows. So, we started out to the furrows.

Journal 4759 Gozran 2nd

At dawn we started our search for Hadhod. We found the head of the troll that jumped off the bridgeto escape us was now asking us to take his head off this pole. The troll told us that the Bride did this to him as his boby lay at the base of the pole trying to get to the head but cannot. The troll did tell us he saw Hadhod who we found along with a homunculus of Alpon Caromarc. It wrote in the dirt asking us to help Caromarc. Caromarc is being kept at the brink of starvation and dehydration and wants us to rescue him. It told me about the machine which can control the Bride and Wretch and how to use it. We would have to control her if we are to bring the Bride down. We decided that I fly to the tower I last remember that sound like the machine to control the Bride. We waited for dusk and I changed to a bat and flew to the tower. Everything he told me was right. I turn the machine on when the lighting bolts appeared with one hitting me. I told the Bride to go to the master bedroom and go to sleep. She told me she does not sleep so I told her to close her eyes and wait for me. Then I switch and contacted Wretch and took control of him telling him that he needs to kill the Bride who is in the master bedroom. Gregor and Hadhod followed Wrench to the bedroom where they attacked the Bride. She shifted to her strange spider form and fought Hadhod and finally put him in webs then went after Gregor with Wretch help they wore her down and Wretch was able to take her head off. At that point I let go of the machine and got hit by another bolt just before I was able to shut it down. I waited for Gregor and Hadhod to find me on top of the tower. Gregor and Hadhod cross the web bridge by putting sheets and blankets. Once across they had to fight a mummy and before destroying it Gregor got infected by the mummy with mummy-rot. They also saved a mimic and told it to leave as they continue on to find me. They entered the building which was flooded and as they were walking thru the water the both fell into a pit of water getting rot grub. They had to get them out to survive and they did by cutting them out. Gregor sensed undead in the next water pit and got around this trap. They got to the tower and climb the interior wall avoiding a large monster in the pool below. They then came into a small lab which contained Alpon Caromarc in an iron maiden prison. For some reason Gregor killed him in the prison as I came down from the tower hearing their voices. Once found Gregor told me about his problem. We went back to the house where I saw Wretch crying asking me why I made him kill her. Gregor got on his horse to Lepidistadt to get cured and left us saying he would be back. I helped wretch burn his love and toss her ashes in the river. We rested up waiting for Gregor return.
