Journal 4759 Lamashan 1st thru 3rd - Stopping the Owlbear Terror

Journal 4759 Lamashan 1st – Gregor brought to the group that we need to go after an owlbear that has armor and killing people. So, we start the search of the owlbear. Journal 4759 Lamashan 2nd – We found the lair of the owlbear and the person who did it to him. The owlbear found us but we were able to kill it without much problem. We also cleared out and found the body of the one who did it to the creature. Declin found a ring that wanted him to control animals and believe this was the item that helped that person do that to the owlbear. We also found some kind of green slime what is very dangerous. We could not figure out how to take it. Search the rest of the caves. Journal 4759 Lamashan 3rd – Finished searching the caves. Head back to Solvania to report.

Journal 4759 Rova 25th thru 30th - Agreement with the Lizard Men Tribe

Journal 4759 Rova 25th – I’m leading the group to Hookscrew Swamp to see if we can get the lizard men to stop eating humans. Journal 4759 Rova 26th – We finally found the village of the Lizard men and talk to one of the guards that we come in peace to talk about eating the dead humanoid they find but to bring the bodies to us and we will give them a large pig. He could not decide and took us to the leader who was a large lizard men and very threatening. It took us some talking but we came up with an agreement to give them a large live pig for adults and small pig for children. Journal 4759 Rova 27th and 28th – Head back to Solvania to tell the queen about our agreement with the Lizardmen and the removal of the trolls. Journal 4759 Rova 29th – Gregor talked to the queen what we have done. Gregor set up the pig farm to pay the lizard men bounty for the bodies they bring to us. I sold the items we did not want and split to each member their share. Journal 4759 Rova 30th – Went around and help the tree sprig and planted some more trees today.

Journal 4759 Rova 8th thru 24th - Destructions of the Troll's

Journal 4759 Rova 9th thru 12th We begin to get ready and then travel to find the trolls trail. Journal 4759 Rova 13th We find a troll trail and after an all day search we found the troll lair and will now watch it. After about an hour before midnight a dwarven secret door opens up and a troll steps out into the darkness. We had a bad plan when the troll came out and he attacked. We did not realize we would be facing ten trolls and two dire wolfs we thought it would only be three or four trolls. We were able to almost bring one troll down but did kill one of the wolves when they started to surround us. I called for us to retreat and we did but as I try to help Declin and Erik. Erik was able to get away with Declin and I getting trapped. Gregor was able to help get half of the trolls to come after him. It looked like they had him but he used his special ability to escape. I got caught by one and when it held me up another troll wanted me, too. With Declin and Gregor help I was able to get free and turn into a snake and hide in a bush. Declin and Gregor where are to also escape. The trolls went after them but did not catch them. The leader had the wolf search for me but never found me because I was a snake. After not finding me they went back in the cave. Journal 4759 Rova 14th - I used the daylight to find Grim which I did and came back to wait for the rest of my group who did not return. I hide to see what the trolls did and they came out again at midnight and back before dawn. Journal 4759 Rova 15th – I waited another day for my friends. But no one showed up. I could not figure out on how to get in. The trolls left again at midnight. Journal 4759 Rova 16th - I decided to see if I could figure out how to get in so I turn into a mouse and climb up to a spot above the entrance and heard them say a strange word to open the door. It sounded like a word I have heard before but could not place it. The trolls left again at midnight. Journal 4759 Rova 17th – I waited for the last day and my friends have not returned. So, I decided to head back to Solvania. Head back to the main road. Journal 4759 Rova 18th – Reached the main road and start walking to Solvania. Journal 4759 Rova 19th – Found my friends heading back to the trolls. They all return on their own to Solvania and waited a day for me before heading back. I went with them back to their lair. They pick up some fire oil to throw at the trolls while in Solvania. I told them about the word I heard the troll say to get into the cave. We decided to see if we could get into the cave and attack them as they tried to get back in. Journal 4759 Rova 20th – Travel back to the troll lair. Journal 4759 Rova 21st – We got back to the troll lair and hide out while I spied on the trolls to tell the party when they left. When they left we went to the entrance and Gregor was able to say the dwarf word to open the door for us to enter the cave. We spent a few hours searching out the cave to be sure nothing was inside to attack us when we started attacking the trolls. We set up our attack plan using my portal hole to trap one or two trolls in the hole. I worked on closing the hole quickly to trap the troll inside. Journal 4759 Rova 22nd – We waited for the trolls to return and when the first troll enter and fell into the hole it scream warning the others so I closed up the hole trapping the rock troll. We were able to kill three trolls and the wolf as they entered one at a time. After we killed another troll after being forced by the leader into the cave no other troll would come in. We had to go out to get the rest. Declin sneak out and threw fire oil at the leader causing confusion as we came out to fight them. We took down the leader which caused three of them to run away leaving just one which we easy killed. We searched the dead trolls taking item we could use or sell then burned the troll’s bodies. At high noon we open the portal hole so the sun light would kill the last troll for us then put the hole on the cliff wall and pulled the troll out and broke it up. I counted the coin and gave each his share of the loot plus paid off Gregor with my share in his because he did not want me to pay him back. I had to so I owe no one for my ring of feather falling. We are going to use this cave as our hide out place now. Journal 4759 Rova 23rd – We finished cleaning out the caves and waited to see if the other returned. The trolls did not return so we decided to go hunting for them to remove the troll problem now. It took over half the day to pick up the troll trail using grim. Journal 4759 Rova 24th – We found them and was able to surprise them taking one out quickly and when the second one went down the last one tried to run but we were able kill it before it got away. We search their bodies and then burned them up, too. We decided to go after the lizard men to get them to stop eating humans.

Journal 4759 Erastus 9th thru Rova 8th Evection of the Razmiran Temple

Journal 4759 Erastus 9th Sold some of our treasure we do not want or cannot use. I bought a ladder to put in the hole so we can climb down into to put and get things out of it. Journal 4759 Erastus 10th thru 15th I went out and check on the seedling growth and planted more seedling in area where they did not survive. Journal 4759 Erastus 16th Gregor told us it looks like we will be going to evict the Razmiran temple if we can prove they are collecting tithe under force of being burned out. Journal 4759 Erastus 17th thru 20th We had to the town to evict the Razmiran Temple with the plan to set up a cobbler business to see if when asked for a tithe and when we refuse to catch them when they try and burn our place. Journal 4759 Erastus 21th We set up our cobbler business to repair shoe by using my spell to mend the shoe to hide the fact that we do not have any shoemaking skills. Journal 4759 Erastus 22nd Our first day open for shoe repair. We get a visit from a Razmiran acolyte the first day we are open. We refuse to pay and Declin threatens the acolyte that we will not let anything happen to our business without problems with the temple. Journal 4759 Erastus 23rd We had a good day of business and no problem from the temple. We stay up during the night hours to see if we can caught the temple trying to burn us out. Journal 4759 Erastus 24th We did okay with our business today no problem from the temple again until late at night. We caught a Razmiran acolyte just before we really did anything. He stated he was trying to just light his torch not our business. He had no prove so we took his mask and left him unconscious on the porch of the temple. Journal 4759 Erastus 25th No one came in the shop today. We stay up again but nothing happen. Journal 4759 Erastus 26th No one came in the shop again today. We stay up again but nothing happen. Journal 4759 Erastus 27th No one came in the shop again today. We stay up again but nothing happen. Journal 4759 Erastus 28th Again no one came in the shop today. We stay up again and this time a Razmiran acolyte thru an alchemist fire at our shop and fled the scene before we could catch him. I was able to put out the fire with my create water rain spell. Journal 4759 Erastus 29th thru Arodus 3rd No business and no trouble from the temple. Journal 4759 Arodus 4th No business but we got attack again at night time by a wizard from the temple. He cast flaming sphere on top of the building. We were able to stop him by knocking him unconscious to cause his spell flaming sphere spell to blink out and I was able to put the fire out again. We caught him in the act so we pack up to head back to Solvania with our prisoner. Journal 4759 Arodus 5th thru 10th Traveling back to Solvania to turn in our prisoner to prove what the temple is doing. Journal 4759 Arodus 11th The trial of the Razmiran wizard Levin caught in the act of burning our business building with a flaming sphere. The head of the church of Razmir arrives, Herald Cedlin, arrives to say Levin was acting on his own and was not told by the temple to do it. He also said his 39 lashes was not harsh enough. Journal 4759 Arodus 12th Thru 13th I go out and check on the seedlings and plant a few more while Gregor talks to Levin to confess that the temple told him to burn our business down. Journal 4759 Ardus 14th I go out again to check and plant seedlings while Gregor gets Levin to confess that the church of Razmiran did order him to burn our shop down. 11/7/2014 (I missed because of my Surgery to have my Gall Baddler out on 11/4/14) Journal 4759 Arodus 15th Queen Arsinoe writes an eviction notice to the church of Razmir due to the evidence presented by a former cultist wizard Levin. With a copy be sent by a post rider to the church of Razmir. We start to get ready to make sure they leave. Journal 4759 Arodus 16th We ask fort 8 archers to come with us for range support. We plan on how we will do this and gather supplies for the trip. Journal 4759 Arodus 17th The queen grants the request and we got eight archers to volunteer to go with us. Journal 4759 Arodus 18th thru 23rd We travel down to the church of Razmir. Journal 4759 Arodus 24th We arrive and set up to wait for a rainy day to reduce the risk that the wooden church will burn down during the fight and maybe to other building. We watched the church, too. Journal 4759 Arodus 25th thru 29th No rain and seeing little going on at the church. Journal 4759 Arodus 30th A torrential thunderstorm came today so we went up to the temple to give them the eviction notice. The front doors where lock so Declin slips the bar so we could open the door. Once we did the cultist attack us. Erik and Gregor led the charge into the temple taking down a wizard and a cult berserker who almost killed Gregor. Erik got himself surrounded but was able to escape as Declin swept in to turn the tide. The cultists fought to the last man but it looks like they were a skeleton crew because the temple was empty with all valuables gone. The first notice they got and us taking so long gave them time to leave will see if this is the last we hear from the cultist of Razmiran. Journal 4759 Rova 1st We search the whole temple and find only a large heavy silk curtain everything else of value been removed days before. Plan to head back to Solvania. Journal 4759 Rova 2nd thru 7th We travel back to Solvania. Journal 4759 Rova 8th We meet with Queen Arsinoe and the queen gives me the temple of Razmir to now be the church of Gozreh. I’m not sure what I’m going to really do with it. Erik is made a knight of the realm and is named the Queen Champion. We is also given a royal armorer to make him a suit of armor. Gregor feels we need to take out the immediate threat of trolls. So, we are going to look for trolls next.

Journal 4759 Erastus 5th thru 8th The Hunt for Old Crackjaw

Journal 4759 Erastus 5th We arrived back in Solvania and took Declin to the High Priests. I stayed close to the city and went around helping the seedling to survive and some day be nice trees in the area again. Gregor told us we were going after the old giant snapping turtle tomorrow. Journal 4759 Erastus 6th We started out to Tuskwater Lake to hunt the giant snapping turtle Old Crackjaw. Journal 4759 Erastus 7th I looked for a place where the turtle comes out of the water. We set an ambush using Erik beartrap placed just inside the water then waited a few hours when the turtle came out. The turtle got caught by the trap but smashed it up to get free. We were able to overwhelm the turtle without anyone getting hurt. Erik waned to take the shell back to we clean out the shell and had good turtle for dinner and was able to get the shell in my portable hole. Journal 4759 Erastus 8th As we return back to Solvania we talk about what Erik wanted to do with the shell. All the idea he had would not work for him so we decided to put the shell in the center of town to collect rain water and be a small pool of water to water animal.

Journal 4759 Erastus 1st thru Erastus 4th the Werewolf

Journal 4759 Erastus 1st We hear a bard story teller named Grigori speaking out against Queen Arsinoe. So, of what Grigori was saying I agreed with him. Gregor was able to keep the crowd quiet and calm doing the discussion. Declin decided to follow Grigori after he finished talking and threaten him with bodily harm if we would not stop talking out against Queen Arsinoe. We decided to check out Grigori calms about the wolf attacks. Journal 4759 Erastus 2nd We leave to investigate the reports about the wolf attacks on humans and livestock. I track the wolf and we figure out it is a werewolf instead. Journal 4759 Erastus 3rd All, the clues we have gather lead us to the conclusion the werewolf is Kundal the Khellid barbarian. We came up with a plan to see if we can trap Kundal. Journal 4759 Erastus 4th We put our plan in play to try and catch Kundal. We follow him until he changed into a werewolf and then attacked. It was a fierce battle but one against four was in our favour and was able to take the werewolf down. But, before we killed the werewolf the wolf bit Declin giving him the disease to become a werewolf. Started back to Solvania to see if the High Priest can remove the disease from Declin.

Journal 4759 Sarenith 22th thru 27th

Journal 4759 Sarenith 22th We finished up getting the house ready to be burned then started the house on fire. I used my create water spell to keep the ground around the house and on the house to slow the burn from getting to hot. Journal 4759 Sarenith 23rd and 24th Watched over the house as it burned and used my create water spell so the fire would not spread. Journal 4759 Sarenith 25th and 26th Travelled back to the city Solvania in the Riverlands. Queen Arisnoe has appointed the following Jhod Kavken as High Priest of Erastil, Kesten Garess as Field Marshal, Oleg Leveton as Master of Coin, Svetlana Leveton as First Council of Solvannia (Queen Arisnoe), Kendra Lorrimor as Royal Magister and myself as First Warden. Journal 4759 Sarenith 27th We sold some of the items we took from the house and spilt the money with the four of us. I started working on coping the Rituals in the spell books we acquired.
